Responsibility is one of the most fundamental components of moral education in childhood and adolescence, which plays a fundamental role in the development of individual personality and ensuring health and social dynamism. The present study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the foundations and teachings of the Quran related to responsibility and extracting practical solutions to strengthen this trait in children, using a descriptive-analytical method and a library approach. The findings of the study show that the Holy Quran, by emphasizing concepts such as trustworthiness, accountability for actions, justice, keeping promises, and human dignity, provides a coherent and profound framework for internalizing responsibility; a framework that leads to the formation of an internal and sustainable commitment beyond external requirements. Also, a study of contemporary educational challenges indicates that factors such as the spread of extreme individualism, the weakening of family interactions, and the relative ineffectiveness of some traditional educational methods have doubled the necessity of returning to the comprehensive Quranic model. Accordingly, this article suggests practical strategies, including institutionalizing a sense of trustworthiness towards existence and time, practicing continuous self-monitoring and auditing of actions, promoting justice in daily interactions and games, and strengthening the spirit of cooperation and teamwork. These strategies can be applied in the family environment and the educational system to elevate responsibility from the level of formal obedience to the level of inner belief and sustainable behavior.
